Bio
Steven Stachowicz is a Managing Director with Protiviti focused on providing risk and compliance advisory support to large financial services clients. He has managed projects related to various consumer protection regulatory requirements, including consumer, credit card and mortgage lending and servicing, deposit operations, fair lending and privacy, for over 20 years. He helps his clients understand regulatory expectations, effective strategies to manage risks associated with complex legal and regulatory consumer protection requirements, and how to remediate the impact (including consumer harm) associated with operational and technological deficiencies.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University, as well as the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certifications.
As a Green City Market Board member, Steven is interested in assisting the organization’s mission of deepening support for sustainable farmers, educating our community, and expanding access to locally-grown food. He enjoys taking his family and young children to farmers market to try new foods and learn more about the vendors. He takes trips with the family to farms in the Midwest to pick berries, vegetables and apples so that his kids appreciate how food is grown and understand the importance of sustainability. As his kids grown and learn, he is enjoying the opportunities to do so with them.
